Oslo Swingjazzfestival 2026

Three days of live swing music built for dancers, Balboa, Lindy Hop, and Shag.

Eight concerts with some of Norway’s finest jazz musicians, curated for social dancing as much as listening. Expect solid tempos, clear rhythm sections, and that kind of groove that keeps the floor moving all night.

Each concert set is followed by breaks to reset, socialize, and grab a drink, and when the bands wrap up, the DJs take over so you can keep dancing into the late hours.

We’re setting up a large, proper dance floor with café-style seating around it, so you can rest without leaving the room, very much in the spirit of a classic swing venue. Sentralen has a full bar, café, and restaurants on site.

There will also be Lindy Hop and Solo Jazz classes with Jo Hoffberg, with a focus on fundamentals, connection, and musicality that carries straight onto the social floor.
